Our NHS program is centered around student commitment to our Tribes values, service, leadership, scholarship and character. Members of our NHS program dedicate themselves to assisting not only their in school, Jaguar community but the community they live in as well. Our NHS students work year round to collect toys for toy drives and visits to our local hospitals. They also visit and collect supplies for our local retirement home and neighboring school communities. This program is dedicated to achieving excellence not only as a student, but also as an individual and a leader in our community. 

Requirements for NHS:

  • Earn a minimum of 91% in all classes
  • Maintain a 91% in all classes throughout the school year
  • Belong to 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade for NHS
  • Belong to 8th grade for Junior NHS (JNHS)
  • Have an excellent (5) or Very Good (4) in behavior/conduct
  • Have no unexcused absences and no more than 2 tardies during each quarter
  • Have no disciplinary infractions
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude with the student body, faculty and administration

The Faculty Council will review all applications for final selection into NHS/JNHS
